The court orders spelled something like this ...
Little did we know we gave him pure bliss...

I guess you all are fools ,
My plan was forever fool proof !
I know the law , i know how it functions
I checked and re-checked at all junctures !

A juvenile cannot be given The Capital Punishment
And i played a good game - and i have no resentment !

She was ordinary , but not my desires
She ignited in me that burnt within like fires !

I wanted to possess every inch of her flesh ,
Hit her , scratch her consume her sweet scent
Damn no , trust me - still no regrets !
Just a lil annoyed by the constant threats !

She screamed ,she kicked , i payed no attention
'Will i satisfy my hunger' that then was my only tension !

Mom thought i was a kid - just growing up
Little did she know , I was a man who was all geared up.
Grown up in thoughts and deeds
Drinking and smoking joints n weeds ...

Delhi sucked out all the pleasure from the triumph a lil later
I dint know there existed people who actually were labelled ' Crime Hater '
How did Delhi stir up this storm ,
Wat was the need to protest in this form ?

They say I should be killed and should die
I ask them - what have i done , why ?
Yaah ..OK, I admit I was wrong
I should have been easy and not gone on her so strong !

But i trust my government and know how they are
Will just send me behind bars and think this will scare
But jails are kool , coz i am safe
And much away from the upheaval n rape !

I wont be hung , i wont be stoned , neither will i be shot at sight
All those who prayed so - I am sorry u lost the fight !

I will live and be more stronger
and do deeds later that will be wronger ..

The verdict - given
The revenge - Taken !

The news that left the whole nation shaken
When dignity and pride was ripped off & taken
The naked truth made the whole nation awaken
To the horrific truth of a body bare and unhidden !

People rose , anger rose , desperation rose
The whole nations mind revolted and froze
Froze to a verdict - the capital punishment
Only this was believed to be the only nourishment
A nourishment for the bodies that lay lifeless and tortured
Writhed in pain and refused to live despite protests that ruptured !!

People stood up , people rebelled , people fought for her
Pledged that no matter what - Justice they shall seek
As promised they did - left not a single stone unturned
Police , politicians , - they took em all - not one word was uttered !

'Rage' - rage was all that could be seen
Like a snake's venom it all spread within
The protesters , they were only keen
Keen on making those bastard pay for their sickest sin

Some said 'stone 'em' , some said 'shoot 'em' some said hang them till they die
Only their death will let the soul of the deceased be in peace and fly

They said at India Gate - Only Death Sentence for them is apt and deserved
For these sick morons, probably " Death Sentence " should be reserved !

Now...
The verdict - given
The revenge - Taken !

 Is it really 'THE CAPITAL PUNISHMENT ' ??
Will this verdict make the people who ever dared to rape , resent ?
Was this a Warning well sent ?

I truly believe - A slow torture would have been apt
So that every other man forcibly touching a woman would feel trapped
Trapped with fear and scare within
A punishment never imagined never seen !

Did this instill fear in them
Did they loose their sleep , are they still sane ??

Will their hands shake , will their blood curdle
Will they cross the line again without another hurdle ?
Will this make their slimy bloodied hands tremble
Will this capital punishment serve as a Preamble ?

I know not , I believe not , I refuse to see through this
9 months of delayed justice , has put on a crease ...
A crease that cannot be pressed , removed ,will never reduce ,
A crease so powerful so strong event Death cannot deduce !

I'll still say - stone THEM , leave rats on THEM , leave dogs at their bare flesh !
Let them die a slow death , tortured , poked , bitten and scratched
Leave them to the public - let them be thrashed !!!

But Now ... as they all say with a triumphant smile ...
